African Grey
These parrots are medium sized and are usually of a greyish colour. Occaisionally you will see them with red wings and red tails. These parrots are the best of all parrots in speech. They have amazing voval dexterity and will speak to you and imitate sounds. It can not be guaranteed that a Grey will ever speak. Grey's can display no signs of talking. They are generally loud and screaming birds who need lots of attention from our side to become bonded to us. Once you make friends, the bird will be the most loyal pet you could ever hope for.
Conure
These parrots are small sized and have very big tails attached to their bodies. They come in a variety of colours and are intelligent. They love to play games. They can be quick learners and good to train. You can teach them to speak is you have patience. This parrot is not suitable for anyone with a busy lifestyle, you need to be able to spend a lot of time with them.
This is because they need several hours of training every day to learn how to socialize, not bite the owner and correct behavioural defects. These birds can be made to control themselves if you train them from an early age.
Macaw
These parrots have been known to survive for about more than fifty years and knowing this you should be ready for a long relation with your bird. Parrots come in all sizes, this is a big sized parrot so get a big parrot cage. Make sure you get this parrot a wide cage. Locking this parrot up all day is a bad idea, to be happy it needs time outside of its cage.
It has a very strong beak and a tendency to bite out everything possible. This means that they will destroy your furniture if you are not careful. This parrot gets bored easily so make sure to get it lots of toys.
