Horse joint pain is something I never actually thought about. I always assumed horses, like my horse Semper, didn’t feel pain or get sick. When my beautiful pet Semper seemed to be aching, I had no clue where to begin. Luckily I found Dr. Ava Frick’s website about her Animal Fitness Center. I learned that animals, even horses, can be susceptible to diseases and illnesses that are also experienced by humans. If I hadn’t brought my equine friend to the doctor on time, his joint problems would have exacerbated and I would really not forgive myself for being so insensitive to his pain.Animal Pain Relief

Ava Frick explained that horse joint pain is actually pretty common once they become over 15 years in age. Tendons and cartilage, in horses and humans, wear down over time as they grow old. Since I got Semper when I was 14 I didn’t think about his aging causing pain, swelling, stiffness and swelling in his joints. I had not noticed that he was in so much pain and had been suffering for quite some time already. I still let him endure hours of practice and even burden him with too much physical activity as I ride him to go around our farm every day.

Equine joint pain is usually treated with medications and drugs. I do know that to much medication and drugs can lead to organ failure and problems for my horse. Besides, I want to make sure that the management of my beloved Semper’s problems should be done as natural as possible. Good thing Dr. Ava Frick uses holistic treatments instead of common medicines. The main thing I liked about the Animal Fitness Center is their alternative treatment to relieving pain and discomfort in all animals. They not only relieve pain and discomfort of all types of animals but also make sure they receive the proper nutrition to make sure they have a speedy recovery. Besides, I felt that genuine care and affection was given to my equine pet during his stay at the Animal Fitness Clinic.

One thing about the animal chiropractic care that Dr. Ava Frick gave to Semper is that it was custom just for him. Treating an animals condition in this matter targets the actual problem and doesn’t just mask the symptoms. Medication can treat horse joint pain but it doesn’t treat the problem just the pain felt from it. Aside from massage therapy, my horse was also subjected to PST Vet (Pulsed Signal Therapy), which is a non invasive type of pain management that not only helps alleviate pain but also boosts the functionality of problematic areas. Already Semper is showing improvement after just a few weeks at the Animal Fitness Center.Animal Chiropractic
