Have you got some guinea pig pets? Then, you better teach yourself the right way to take care of the little guys and you know why? It’s because, maybe the lack of know-how for a good care or the wrong way can be disastrous for pet guinea pigs. They get sick all the time and easily and would die quickly. That’s why before you can even teach your own self to train him or how to do other things, you have to be aware how to teach yourself to care for him. Right now, all over the Internet, a lot of book guides are being promoted and they have explained in full detail on how to care for a pet guinea pig.
Believe it or not, but there are dozens of guinea pig care book guides out there that have been flooding the market already, offline and on the Internet. Anyone who has his own pet guinea pig will be surprise by this but the truth is, more and more people are turning to guinea pigs if ever they wanted to have pets in the house. More and more of them are getting annoyed by man’s best friend and guinea pigs can sure be great pets if you have kids in your house and you don’t want a pet whose mouth is so big that your kid’s head will fit right into it. You want something small. So, it’s best that you have your own guinea pig.
Although these are small animals and they could look very fragile and weak, if given the proper care and training, they can be as fun as you want them to be. As a matter of fact, you can learn how to train them like the way a person will train a dog and they can be very interactive, too. A lot of people planning on buing or adopting a cat, are forgetting several important facts. Hair, claws, and litterbox. These are the things to keep in mind at all times, as a cats have been known to sharpen their claws on couches and archairs, and if their litter box is not clean, you might have some nasty presents around the house.
I knew all of the above, but still decided to get one. I took it upon myself to take care of a small, Birmanese kitten. It was cute, soft, warm, and cuddly, and my girlfriend loved playing with it. It got used to us in a couple of days, and soon, nothing in the apartment was safe from its curious little paws.
By nothing I absolutely mean nothing. That cat cat had absolutely scratched up my cds. All my CDs were scratched, and my couch was beggining to show signs of wear from the constant clawing. My little kitty always had to have its bowl filled with food or else it would get up on the kitchen table and try to eat what it could find. Milk with kitty hair in it just isn’t good, trust me.
My clix 2 gb also was ruined by my little kitty. The player had no way of defending itself, and my kitty quickly found that out, chewed it up, and left it in a corner. I was very fond of my player and was so mad I almost gave the kitty away. My girlfriend, however, bought me a new player, and told me she found the kitten very funny, and not to give it away. What could I do?
I have adapted, since then, and store my important things in impossible to reach places. If something else of mine is destroyed, I try to think of it as my fault. My not-so-little kitty now goes wherever it pleases in my house, and plays with pretty much everything. But I do love it!
